Cwtch has been an absolute godsend – St Davids was in need of a good casual restaurant and it’s done the trick very nicely. I like the no-nonsense approach to vegetables and pricing. Plus the staff seem to have fun working there, which is always a bonus.

This – or something like this – is on my todo list, but is unlikely to get done until children have grown up. So quite a lot of years to go yet. But I visited Pembrokeshire a lot as a kid, and yearn to go walking there once again. Bravo Tom!

Had I known, you could have dropped in at my parents’ for a slice of lemon cake. If ever you fancy a weekend, jump in the motor with me. I find it the perfect retreat when I need to get myself back together.
