I've been beta testing Dopplr and have _absolutely no idea_ what it's all about or how to make the most of it.

As an early adopter (but beta rather than alpha geek) this is frightening: it's a long time since I've been totally baffled by a technology or service.

Could someone please explain how the hell to get Dopplr going?
