Did you see that short series of documentaries on BBC 2 last year on writers and how they write? Sure, we&#039;d all love to be like Rob Newman and swan off to Mexico on the pretense of &#039;research&#039;, but we haven&#039;t got the money, nor the time. Nor the fanatical stand-up gig following that almost guarantees that the majority of his initial print run won&#039;t have to be pulped. But anyway...



While I&#039;m here, I&#039;m working on a couple of Omnivore stories. (I&#039;m still here! I haven&#039;t forgotten!) You&#039;ll get one of them by the end of this week.
